Or should I say @$#& this? In case you haven't noticed, I removed all my journal entries, deviations, and widgets. I can't help but be disappointed at all this. I was almost ready to upload the watercolors that I didn't sell. But now, I'm just leaving.
You browse around and first it's a scan from a manga filled in using what's most likely MSPaint. Then it's some tracing. And then a snapshot, an excuse for a photograph with no artistic value taken by an amateur with an expensive camera. If that's not enough, there's so much photomanipulated stuff, people acting as if they're responsible for making the whole thing.
Then there's the forum. I thought teenagers on the internet weren't supposed to be so stupid. Not to mention some middle class kid trying to pretend there's something deep about being emo. I guess I shouldn't expect Artforum from this.
I can't believe I came across a filthy bunch of naked girls being explicitly penetrated by a bunch over giant maggots and worms and countless photos of girls prying open their vaginas being passed off as "artistic nudity". If they were guys I'm sure it would've been deleted immediately. That from 'deviant'Art.
I'll just post somewhere else. I don't care even if I have 9 months or 9 years in my subscription. Google Reader makes navigating blogger SO much easier. Or I'll just get my own website. If I can pay for my own tuition, I think I could get a site.
